Secretary/Manager of a prominent private sporting organisation with 500 plus members. Conduct the day to day running of the organisation whilst in control of seven staff. Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient utilisation of the financial, physical and human resources under the control of the Board of Management.All duties related to the positions of Secretary to the Board of Management. Attending to financial management matters ensuring efficient control of creditors, debtors and stock relating to the operations of the organisation. Ensuring effective utilisation and control of all staff and contractors employed by the organisation.Maintaining appropriate working relationships and communication with members, employees and external agencies.Promoting and marketing the organisation’s facilities with the express aim of maximising the use of those facilities and attracting functions and sponsorship to the organisation. Provide interim service in the bar at appropriate times.Advising the Board of Directors of any recommendations that will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation.

I conducted duties from window cleaning to general cleaning in the CBD of Devonport and Launceston. During this time I built up the business from approx turnover of $32 000 to a turn over of $52 000.
