Lots of data work!Joined around 20 employees at Series A through 200+ Series CMy proudest achievement was building our provider projection model that is still in use today. When I joined the company, we were buying aggregated estimates and no one on the team understood the transactional data we had started licensing. A year later, we were able to remove the aggregated data vendor. While this was a technical achievement, it also required deeply researching and learning the domain. This project also deeply influenced our data strategy in the coming years.As we started growing, I spent time hardening some of our data infrastructure and ultimately leading a team to assess new data sources.

Worked at all levels of Data/Intelligence projects from high level strategy & stakeholder management all the way down to low level technical work to get things done.Highlight Project:Data Scientist - Major OFS Company•Served as a Data Scientist and Big Data Architect for a large scale Big Data system that included time series sensor data, commercial ERP data, and public data•Wrote core Scala library for processing 35TB time-series sensor data and led a team writing the implementation scripts using Spark•Wrote core R library now used in production by client for exploring time series data in parquet and relational data from Hive and Phoenix (Hbase)•Productionized entity-resolution pipeline to resolve oil-wells between public and private data sources using Spark and Graphx. Wrote initial prototype code using Python, NetworkX, and matplotlib•Served as clients primary point of contact and managed entire data pipeline from data ingest through to visualization for use cases focused on equipment reliability•Tools: R, Python, Spark, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Phoenix, Spotfire
