Research Assistant/Architectural Survey Coordinator, African-American Housing In Tennessee
Sponsored by grants from the Tennessee Historical Commission, and the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA), and administered through the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University. I recorded slave housing across the state through historical research, photography, and measured drawings. The project became a dissertation on slave housing in Tennessee.
