Indigo 7R level 2 digital press operator. I've been an offset press operator since starting my apprenticeship way back in July 1984 at Glen Printers, Aberdeen, Scotland.I have always loved printing, but now running the Indigo press for CMYKhub Cairns, I am enjoying it more than ever.

I was a territory manager in charge of a team averaging 10. Duties included managing my team to perform at their best, providing knowledge and support where needed to help them achieve their own personal goals, as well as making sure my pwn financial needs were met on a weekly basis.I sold accident disability insurance and my area covered from Cairns to the top of Cape York. During my time, I achieved the highest award for sales, The Ring Of Diamonds and achieved top selling insurance advisor on one occasion throughout the whole of Australia.I frequently hit my 6 monthly targets, which earned me maximum bonus on more than one occasion.it was at times challenging, coming from a printing background, but I feel very proud of myself for stepping into a new role and surpassing every expectation.

Started off running a 2 colour GTO, less than a week after arriving in Australia from Bonnie Scotland.by the time I left I was in charge of production on the afternoon shift, whilst operating a 2 colour Heibelberg MO.

I made many friends there, who I am still in touch with today.I had not long come back to Scotland after a year backpacking around Australia and as fate had it, I returned to Australia about 2 years later in April 96
