I am currently ending a twenty year career with the Unites States Marine Corps as a 4421/Legal Services Specialist. I am currently acting as the Defense Services Chief located at Parris Island, SC. I have spent a bulk of my career serving with the Trial Services Office (Prosecuting Attorneys). I have approximately ten years experience in providing support to over eighty Judge Advocates within that time period. Support included; drafting legal documents, interviewing witnesses, analyzing evidence and investigations, drafting charge sheets based on evidence provided to the Trial Services Office by Commands, administrative support, arranging travel for attorneys, witnesses, members, and defense. I also have three years experience serving the Defense Services Offices as both a Defense Chief and a Regional Defense Chief. In all I have twelve years experience serving as a Senior Enlisted Advisor for both Trial and Defense. I additionally have four years experience in Family Law working with our Legal Assistance attorneys as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Legal Assistance Office. As for experience outside of my primary Military Occupational Skill, I served as a Marine Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry for three years. In this billet I instructed entry-level Marines in basic combat tactics.
