The company’s growth had been built almost entirely by referral. ANCS had less than 14 active accounts when I joined the organization. My key responsibilities at ANCS included: Evaluate the companies processes. Create Business Plan Outlines and Marketing Plans After six months, become the primary contact for sales and service opportunities. Create an "Onboarding Process" for Managed Services clients as well as the steps that need to be in place for the “Onboarding” of all new and existing clients. Research sales and service offerings and the pricing strategies of competitive companies.Be the Point of Contact for New and Assigned Existing Vendor Relationships Create a program for Client Retention Recruit Technical Support Personnel when networking within the community Create Contracts and Legal Documentation Be an Advisor to the President and Management Team as needed.     I was the Midwest Regional Manager in the Direct Channel of the Business Products Solutions Group and hired, mentored and lead a team of Account Executives that were responsible for the sales and service of wireless and data solutions in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Overall duties involved recruiting, training and the development of Account Executives in defined sales territories. I trained an experienced team of Account Executives to prospect, cold call, network with the Chamber of Commerce organizations in their territories and other local business and civic groups. Also was responsible for increasing revenue and sales of existing products and services and the launch of new products or programs and services. One of the programs I was responsible for was rollout of the Sprint GE/Supra smartphone initiative to the Evansville Area Association of Realtors. This was a national program that started in Evansville Indiana then shifted to the national wide rollout of the GE/Supra smartphone initiative. Our core accounts were primarily medium sized businesses to large corporate accounts in the region. I found success in helping the Account Executive team in increasing new accounts and developed a program for retaining existing accounts and increasing revenues by meeting existing clients quarterly and semi-annually. They were also the manufacturers of most of their products as well as the reseller. Having the responsibilities as the GM also helped me in being able to become the expert my clients called on for advice when making their purchases of computers, software or related equipment. We were in this business at the time when many companies were making their first technology purchases. We sold and then installed the first automated accounting systems to area businesses. This was before IBM, Dell, Compaq and others were selling at the microcomputer level. We worked with literally all types of clients and had to know what software to recommend for each vertical market. Establishing relationships with programmers was essential as not all of our clients had software written for their business or organization. The education market became one of my niche markets as many school districts in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois ended up spending hundreds of thousand of dollars on district wide computer labs. I stayed with the Tandy and Radio Shack Computer Center Division from nearly the beginning until the end. • Received national recognition and awards for sales growth and profitability. Won trips to the Bahamas and California.
