Developed controller software for Apheresis machines. The machine has two computer boards running concurrently for assuring safety. The software is written in C/C++. • ASCII data streams (PDF, Postscript data…) processing, a C/C++ based multi-threaded process, which receives non-segmented raw data or segmented page data and print control info, and outputs rasterized sheet side data.
• Developed a C++ component to save and manage printer rasterized data, media information and provide SaveRip and print from rip capacity for the system.
• Developed API functions for other print control components for information on the rasterized data.

• Worked on professional desktop publishing software (QuarkXPress 7.0 and 8.0 for Windows and Mac) using Visual C++ on Windows and Xcode tools on Mac.
• Developed QuarkXPress multi-resolution imaging engine (image pyramid), down-sampling, re-sampling bilinear interpolations algorithms for combined 2D image transforms (translation, scaling, rotation, flipping, skewing).
• Optimized image blurring algorithm for Xpress Drop Shadow feature, which achieved big performance gain on 300 dpi heavy blurred print output, optimized image blending algorithms for Xpress Cool Blend function.
• Developed shape’s code (structures and functions for defining manipulating shape objects, i.e Bezier curve shape interception, union…).
• Debug and maintain QuarkXPress code.
