I studied Business at Seneca College starting in 2008 and landed my first summer student position with the Ontario Ministry of Finance in the summer of 2009. During this time, I thought it would be a great opportunity to start my career so I decided to switch my studies at Seneca College from Full-Time to Part-Time and pursue my career within the Ontario Public Service. I had the opportunity to work with many wonderful colleagues within the Ontario Public Service and held numerous positions within the organization with the intention to land a permanent position. I started with administrative positions which then lead to various financial positions in both the public and private sector. After being hired as a Senior Tax Compliance Analyst in 2011, I knew that I had a passion for finance. With my early career with the Ontario Public Service, my contract had expired with no possibility of renewal which lead me to a career in pension administration in the private sector in 2012. In 2016 I was employed back as a Senior Tax Compliance Analyst which then I had the pleasure to be the Team Lead for my unit in 2021. I decided that I wanted to further my knowledge and skills so in 2022 I became a Disability Accommodation Coordinator with the Treasury Board Secretariat in Human Resources working with Workplace Safety and Insurance Board to begin my new career.
