I am General Manager NSW for Alkane Resources Ltd – Australia’s next multi-mine gold producer. My strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills have been honed by decades of experience in natural resource management, environmental planning and approvals, community and government relations, and board/committee leadership roles at local, state and national levels. I trained in geology and biology and following two years’ exploration and mine experience in South Africa I’ve been based in Central West NSW since 1984. My career has spanned water catchment management, farming and mining, and my passion is building capacity and resilience in regional communities and economies. I have made major contributions to several award-winning biodiversity, landcare and conservation projects. In 2015 I was personally honoured with the NSW Minerals Council Environment and Community Leadership Award.
Listed skills include Mining, Gold, Mineral Exploration, Minerals, and 39 others.
