Michael is a partner in the PwC Boston financial services practice with a focus on global asset management in the firm’s Trust Solutions business. Michael has specialized experience in consolidation accounting, debt and equity offerings for public and private companies, controls reporting and complex valuation issues. Michael also serves as the President of the PwC Charitable Foundation, responsible for bringing the Foundation's mission and values to life by supporting the people of PwC and addressing the societal issues that impact them, their families and their communities. Since joining the Foundation’s Board in 2017, Michael has worked to deliver grants that address inequalities in education, support environmental and societal relief, aid in career services for transitioning veterans, and provide access to financial capabilities and technology skills to students.Michael has spent his professional career with PwC and has held various management roles. He is currently the co-leader of the Northeast Asset & Wealth Management practice; past roles include the financial services innovation leader, overseeing a team focused on driving process and technology transformation efforts for the PwC Trust Solutions practice. Prior to joining the Boston office in 2008, Michael completed a two-year assignment in PwC Ireland working with global financial service clients. In addition to his work at PwC, Michael serves as a board member of the Catholic Schools Foundation and the Mia Sutphin Foundation. He is a member of the Town of Milton Massachusetts audit committee, where he and his wife Kate live with their four children. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Science in administrative studies from Boston College where he also played football. He is a certified public accountant in Maryland, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
