In my current position, I manage renovations in major retail locations across Canada. I mange crews that are between four and fifteen members, and are usually made up of union carpenters, electricians, and fire suppression technicians, as well as non-union merchandisers and local temporary workers. Major responsibilities include managing budgets, designing/preparing critical paths (using architectural and engineered drawings) , Quality Control and communicating with local store Management teams, external Stakeholders and our own Internal Support teams. For this position I am familiar with, and work within, WHMIS Legislation, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the various Provincial Construction Acts and Local Fire and Building Codes daily. I consistently complete projects on-time, under budget, and at a high standard that is noted by both my superiors and our client’s stakeholders.

I worked every summer since 2012-2017 as a merchandiser and installer while I was in high school and university. I then worked full time from May 2017-February 2018 as a Team Lead before I became a site supervisor for The Reset Team in February 2018.

I worked organizing and running the ball hockey league for 4 semesters. I improved my teamwork skills and used this position as an opportunity to learn more about organizing staff members and creating and managing schedules.
