Established Origaudio in 2009 by developing and creating eco-friendly portable speakers that folded and unfolded like origami. Three months after launching, the product was named to Time Magazine’s “50 Best Inventions of The Year” list and the business exploded overnight. Launched and developed over 120 different cutting edge and trend setting consumer electronics and lifestyle products. My team and I made Origaudio a household name in the consumer electronics sector and the promotional products industry.My proudest accomplishments at Origaudio:- Bootstrapped Origaudio, never raising outside capital, subsequently leading the company to over $100M in sales volume.- Managed and hired a team of over 100 employees across multiple offices in North America.- Utilized clever grassroots and guerrilla marketing, combined with a strong public relations strategy to prevent spending money on traditional marketing until year eight.- Oversaw and created our own enterprise resource planning software system from the ground up to run and power our business.
