In recent years, I have developed a keen interest in sustainable technology – how it can work for people, and how it can make our cities smarter.My responsibilities at MTR Corporation Limited involve me wearing three different hats: Managing Director of MTR Lab Company Limited, where we support the long-term growth of communities with technological investments and innovative solutions; General Manager of Corporate Strategy; and transformation leader. These roles give me an abundance of opportunities to explore my passion for experimenting and employing innovative business solutions and emerging technologies. On a day-to-day basis, you will find me formulating and managing business plans while facilitating acquisitions and transactions to strengthen the long-term sustainable growth of the organisation.Extensive multi-industry (incl. retail and distribution; fast-moving consumer goods; funds and asset management; banking and finance) experience in corporate strategy and planning; sales operation management; customer journey design and insights analysis; change management; business development; governmental relations; corporate communications and corporate finance have painted me with a very fulfilling career. I previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Inchcape Greater China, managing overall operations and formulating strategies that ensured the continuous growth and success of the business. Additionally, I serve as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Integrated Waste Solutions Holdings Limited, as a way to contribute my two cents in building a more sustainable city through recycling.A Chartered Financial Analyst, I was admitted as a fellow member of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. I am also qualified as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Financial Risk Manager. I obtained my Executive Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
