As principal, Michael T. Larkin brings over 35 years of experience to his consulting practice. Mr. Larkin's professional responsibilities are focused on the provision of consulting planning services to the firm's diverse client base and mentoring the professional staff at LARKIN+. Mr. Larkin also appears before the Ontario Municipal Board to provide his expert opinion on land use planning matters as a Registered Professional Planner (RPP). WESTON LARKIN INC. was a planning firm, providing land use planning and related development management services to private and public sector clients in a market based primarily in Ontario. Mr. Larkin joined Weston & Associates in 1989 as a Senior Planner, responsible for the management of a number of land use planning projects on behalf of the firm’s projects. As Mr. Larkin’s reputation grew in the industry so did his level of professional responsibility. By 1989 he led a small team of planners within the firm responsible for a wide range of land use planning projects, leading to his appointment to the position of “Associate”. In 1992 Mr. Larkin was appointed “Vice President” and assumed additional responsibilities, first assisting with the daily management of the firm, and ultimately assuming the function. Throughout this period Mr. Larkin’s professional practice steadily grew, bring new clients to the firm and broading his professional experience. In 1994 the firm’s name changed to WESTON LARKIN INC. with Mr. Larkin’s appointment to the position of President. Throughout his tenure with the firm, Mr. Larkin’s professional responsibilities involved the provision of consulting planning and development management services to the firm's diverse client base on a broad variety of land use planning projects.

THE SEATON GROUP is a land development firm, with residential and commercial projects primarily in Ontario. Mr. Larkin’s professional responsibilities involved the management of the firm's land development operations.

CMHC is a Federal Crown Corporation charged with the responsibility of administering federal housing policy and delivering federally sponsored programs associated thereto. Mr. Larkin’s professional responsibilities involved the provision of technical support to senior management of the Toronto Branch and Ontario Regional Office, assisting in the implementation of Federal housing stimulus programs.
