Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Program.Major Responsibilities:- Manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel in the daily execution of work to support the goals of the company while ensuring implementation of the Safety and Quality Assurance Programs.- Perform the duties of the Quality Manager as defined in the NQAM and supplementing procedures.Review contracts, engineering design input and output documents, procurement documents, and Work Order Routings for acceptance and release.- Prepare certifications and document packages for valves and component shipments.- Determine root causes and provides recommendations to eliminate nonconforming issues in Deficiency (DRs) and Corrective Action Reports, etc.- Interface with management and other Crane associates, customers, suppliers, and oversight organizations (ANI, ASME, NBIC, NUPIC, NRC, etc.) in meetings and as required in the execution of sales orders for compliance to quality program and contract requirements.- Effectively communicate the status of activities during meetings, etc.- Participate in Crane Business Systems (CBS) activities including Visual Management, Problem Solving, 5S, Kaizens, and Projects.- Participate in program maintenance as assigned by the Director, Safety & Quality.- Perform supplier assessments, review of supplier quality programs, and assist with the maintenance of the Approved Supplier List.

Directly manages all aspects of Helm Group’s ASME PP stamp as well as NBIC R stamp while being the direct liaison to the Authorized Inspector for certification. Develops a culture of support and an expectation of compliance. • Maintains a continued and thorough understanding of various codes and standards, including but not limited to: NBIC Part 3, ASME Sections I, II, III, V, VIII, and IX as well as B31.1, B31.3, B31.5, B31.9, and ASME BPE. • Manage all repairs and alterations to ASME rated pressure vessels, boilers, and boiler external piping. • Review all contract documents upon award for compliance requirements. • Developed a program to manage and prioritize a workflow through multiple pipe fabrication shops that optimizes asset and manpower utilization for highest productivity and project delivery. • Incorporate LEAN manufacturing practices.• Evaluates capital equipment improvements for positive impact on productivity, safety, and quality.• Collaborate with project management for maximum pre-fabrication and modularization.• Integrates new technologies in tracking project status and productivity from VDC through shipment. Evaluate new technologies and joining technologies for objective advantages and compromises.
