Triage Consulting Group is a medium-sized healthcare consulting firm that provides comprehensive payment review to hospital providers across the United States. Triage seeks to identify lost revenue, accelerate cash, and improve processes that will prevent future cash loss. In addition, Triage provides recommendations for future contract negotiations, revenue cycle consulting, and trainings to hospital staff. Responsibilities included the following:•Managed hospital payment review projects, served as the main client contact for hospital clients (CFO, CEO, VPs. PFS Directors, Contract Managers, etc.)•Analyzed and reviewed complex managed care contracts with insurance companies, government payers and payer networks to identify underpayment risk•Performed high level audits across Microsoft Access databases to determine payment accuracy and identify trends•Compiled and delivered project status meetings to hospital business office directors and CFO's addressing underpayment trends, contract recommendations and revenue cycle improvements•Served as Medicaid subject matter expert and Healthcare Reform contributor on Triage's internal knowledge group•Prepared weekly and bi-monthly internal reporting deliverables for upper management•Trained and oversaw team of associate staff with varying experience levels•Managed company recruiting efforts at the University of Southern California
