These functions include the delivery of payroll and recruitment services to Victorian Public Sector clients across DET and providing consultancy advice on employment conditions to managers and staff.Responsibilities:- Payroll services, advice and support: processing onboading paperwork for new staff to DET, processing of pay variations for current employees, answering queries regarding employee pay issues and finding solutions and best course of action for pay related scenarios, providing advice to employees and upper management on payroll processes payroll policy.- Recruitment services: posting ads to Careers.vic.gov.au and internal ad boards as necessary, assisting managers with recruitment advice in line DET policies and procedures, developing contract variations for existing and new employees, answering queries regarding contractual information in line with current Public Service Agreements (2016) and Teaching Service Agreements (2017). - Policy and interpretation services: providing advice on various policies within DET, e.g. leave entitlements, remuneration, recruitment etc. Providing interpretation of the Victorian Public Service Agreement (2016) and Teaching Service Agreement (2017) to employees and manager when necessary.Accomplishments: - Acting Assignment - Assistant Manager for Regions (South West and North East Regions) on several occasions.
