Conducted field investigations to review the routes or sites to be acquired. On many projects, engineering personnel participated in the field investigation with the Right-of-Way Agents. In some organizations, agents are technical consultants to staff members responsible for selecting routes.Researched, negotiated an elected to purchase short- and long-term lease of land agreements and right of way for construction that meet the organization's goals. Handled all land related legal issues, including transfers of titles and deeds, construction, mortgage concerns, and zoning. Prepares resolutions and other legal forms related to land acquisitions. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Worked with contractors for clients to organize, execute daily construction activities with pre-construction, construction and erection of transmission lines within the organizations right of way.
