I graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where I was a member of the Cardozo Journal of Law & Gender. During law school, I interned for the Honorable Leon Ruchelsman, Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. I have represented hundreds of employees on an individual and class basis in bringing claims for unpaid minimum wages, unpaid overtime, unpaid prevailing and union wages and benefits, unlawful deductions, tip-skimming, retaliatory termination, unlawful collection of franchise fees under the New York State Franchise Act, forced kickbacks under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and breach of contract. I also litigated cases involving whistleblowers, sexual harassment, age discrimination, national origin discrimination and race discrimination.I also assist employers in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.I am admitted to the state bars of New York and New Jersey, and am admitted to practice before the Eastern District and Southern District of New York. I am also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association/New York and was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
