Lead team responsible for driving the transformation of data and analytics in the Bank, including Data Governance, Data Infrastructure and the evolution of the Bank’s analytical employees from data analysts/ miners to data scientists. Define and drive the Bank’s Data strategy. Reviewed and approved annually by the Bank’s Management Committee Facilitate the global deployment of the Data Governance program developed in the US., including organizational structure, roles and responsibilities and business processes. The processes developed in the US were identified as global best practices.  Manage the development and implementation of the Bank’s Data Quality program, including methodology, tools, execution and issue remediation  Develop and drive the Bank’s data infrastructure transformation roadmap, including the replacement of the Bank’s legacy enterprise data warehouse, retirement of the legacy data marts and the implementation of the new Big Data platform Develop and manage the roadmap to facilitate the evolution of the analytical teams within the Bank from data analysts/ miners to data scientists. Comprehensive program includes employee assessment, training, standardized role development, community of practice, recruiting programs and coordinating data sourcing to the Bank’s data lake to transition BAU activities and new use cases based on platform and employee capabilities

Lead team that provides comprehensive Data Management services to the Bank, including Governance, SDLC support and data strategy and integration. Developed a comprehensive Data Governance Structure within the Bank. Structure includes Informational Steering Committee (C-level), Working Group (Director level) and Stewardship program. The structure is supported by a Data Management model that details all processes required to manage the Bank’s data. Key accomplishments include establishing organizational buy-in through a strong partnership with the Engineering team, Director level engagement from the organization, including Risk, Customer Intelligence and Financial and Regulatory reporting and implementing stable processes used for prioritization and conflict resolution.  Implemented tools used to support the roll-out of the stewardship process, including Informatica Metadata Manager for Business Glossary, Data Dictionaries, Impact Analysis and Lineage, Informatica’s Data Quality and JIRA Worked with Informational Engineering team to re-engineer the SDLC process that maintains the Informational Platform. Key accomplishments include the development a JIRA process to enable users to log enhancements, defects and projects, implementation of informational Kanban teams that execute the requests and successful change management of the user population to adopt the new processes. Managed day to day operations of the Data Management team that supports the key systems in the Bank’s informational platform, including the enterprise data warehouse, it’s down streams and the credit risk data base. The team supports the monthly production process and the development of system requirements, data mapping and modeling and user acceptance testing.
