Responsibilities · Overseeing the finance function from data entry through to reporting and commentary· Producing a detailed annual budget with quarterly reforecasting for 3 departments · Introducing strict controls to improve compliance and reporting standards wherever necessary · Project accounting for all sales, followed by P&L reconcilliation· Capex Appraisal· Producing monthly management accounts including variance analysis.· Introducing insightful KPI’s, helping the Managing Director to assess departmental performance · Weekly, monthly and annual cash flow forecasts · Credit Control, including credit limit appraisals · Drafting and submitting supplier payments in various currencies · Processing VAT returns and EC Sales lists · Dealing with employee’s expenses and company credit card transactions.

Working as part of an outsourced accounting function for a boutique hotel and restaurant in Suffolk. Solely responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and scrutiny of profit margins in relation to inventory movement. Responsible for implementing accounting processes and KPI's to ensure that data is accurate and relevant for the end users.
