Following a Kaizen regulatory submissions review, several workflow process improvements needed rolling out for optimal submission accuracy improvements, calling on a sort term daily processing position within the regulatory reporting team to action each change and review submission success metrics covering EMEA within the financial services space via extensive data analysis and process modelling rebuilds.Overall delivery expected the project to extend for around a year, while overall delivery was concluded within a 7 month period, comfortably ahead of schedule.

Expanding on prior successes with the business, promotion to Head of Business Development opened significant resource allocation and process government directives to empower overall Operations capabilities.Company first deliver centralized data warehousing initiatives were delivered, empowering holistic data visibility across all product lines and business units within the EMEA region of business.Key achievements:- Lead delivery of IT data migration for the businesses primary cleared business middle office solution from "Eclipse" to "XTP", both offerings from a market leader vendor ION.- Full report suite rebuild allowed overnight process efficiencies of reporting obligations from 7 ours down to 15 minutes (~96% time efficiency gain).- Empowered a transparent dept driven report offering via cloud tools predominantly using Power-BI, allowing rapid customization reporting, as well as live data streaming via the same channels, vastly reducing data correction turnaround times by upwards of 60%- Data engineered report generation via SQL times as such reduced by around 80% (hours to minutes)General BAU:- Modelled and delivered EMEA data solution covering multiple business and product lines.- End to end ETL process buildout to connected and disconnected systems.- Wrote 100+ data capture SQL stored procedures.- Built 30+ SSIS Data import processes consuming 25-50m data records per day- Wrote & optimized 250+ SQL views utilizing CTE's and standardized coding practice.- Build and published 300+ Power-BI reports covering every operations department.- Published 15 dedicated operational silo sites to present and control data and process controls for each operational team.- Acted as key advisory to data governance towards new business take-on initiatives.

With a year in with StoneX, speciality pillars of business development required a full time assignment role starting within the Finance/Accounting Dept.Initial objectives involved staff time recoup efforts achived by migration of excel processes over to SQL fully automated process builds, resulting in a quick delivery time efficient gain of around 60% to delivering daily client fund reporting obligations, staff working through to 10pm daily, returned to a regular 9-5 cycle (True win).Time recovered from the unit was then contributed towards developing full automation of Pillar II financial reporting needs.Mid term through this role, focus was diverted towards an impending EMSA3 & MiFID2 regulatory regime:- Full process design, model & delivery under a very tight 6 month turnaround time.- Enhanced process optimisation brought about an annual reductin in regulatory transaction costs of around $1m- Post Go-Live, a further 6 months of process tweaking, BAU support, process control reports, handover to lvl 2 teams- KPI report set buildouts via Power-BI for full transparency- Data reconcilliation buildouts for data accuracyKey achievements:- Extended SQL automation beyond Pillar II, covering all areas of daily, monthly and quarterly filings requirements across.- Overall staff efficiency gains seen of around 25%-35% "person hours"- Delivered Subsequent far reaching removal of human error reworks.

I joined a newly formed IT team within the London office, predominantly responsible for 1st line of support for post middle office reporting automation and report generation offered via a bespoke internal C# reporting solution.Extensive end user engagement efforts were undertaken in requirement gathering for mostly new report buildouts for general finance & operational functions across the business. Estimate benefit included approximately 100 work hours daily benefit across operational staff via full automation buildouts being delivered.Still within early days with the company, I was tasked with leading requirement gathering and solution designing a reporting suite build-out for a medium sized precious metals middle office platform migration impacting London, Singapore & Dubai offices business units. This included every ooperation and managerial interest in mind such as control reports, reconcilliations, PnL, inventory & any required fillings to match.
