Leads a Stryker Infantry Battalion with a Headquarters Company, three Infantry Companies, and one Forward Support Company to deploy trained and ready forces for any State or National mission. Lead by personal example and be responsible for everything the SBCT Infantry battalion does or fails to do in executing its assigned tasks. Provide leadership, training, tactical employment, and sustainment activities of the Battalion. Drive the operations process through understanding, visualizing, describing, directing, leading, and assessing. Develop the team's leadership and tactical skills to win our future wars in a complex and contested environment. Exercise supervisory responsibility for over $150 million of equipment. Additionally, the yearly training, travel, and logistics budgets of $1,200,000.

Battalion Commander for an 860 Soldier Brigade Support Battalion (BSB). Responsible for everything the unit does or fails to do. Responsible for preparing the unit in Decisive Action Operations for federal deployment, as well as Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) state contingency operations with minimal response time. Serves as the Senior Logistician for a 4,350 Soldier Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT). Responsible for all aspects of personnel readiness, equipment readiness, and training readiness of the command. Maintains liaison with local community elected officials and supervises emergency planning within assigned area of responsibility.

Exercise Planning Specialist responsible for the development and execution of United States Army Europe, Joint, and Multinational exercises in support of US Military, NATO Partners and Allies. Responsible for all aspects of exercise design including planning, coordination, resource management plans and budgets. Represents the US Army Europe Commander during coordination with Joint Agencies, NATO and Multinational staff counterparts during the planning and execution of exercises. Coordinates with other exercise planners from higher, adjacent and subordinate units in development and planning throughout exercise "Cradle to Grave".

Operational Planning effort for the 23,000 member California Military Department (including the California National Guard, California State Military Reserve, and Youth and Community Programs Task Force).-Assist in the Coordination, Tracking and Logistic planning of California National Guard assets in the event of a natural disaster.-Evaluate the needs of State and local partners and allocate the necessary resources necessary to accomplish the mission. -Provides technical guidance and assistance to subordinate units in the development of deployment and redeployment plans for use in responding to local/state/national emergencies, homeland security missions, and anti-terrorism/force protection.

Responsible for 110-Soldier motorized Cavalry Troop that conducts reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition. Develops junior leaders through training, incrementally increasing responsibilities, and mentoring. Entrusted with the health, welfare, moral, discipline, and readiness of entire Troop while ensuring a positive unit climate.

Manager for 8 developers and multiple vendors; responsible for the development, maintenance, and overall health of the Salesforce.com Training Portal, servicing 80,000 unique monthly visitors and earning $40 Million in yearly revenue. -Leads scrum team that delivers technical solutions and business process change to realize business value and objectives through use of Agile Project Management. -Partner with various business units to understand their requirements as well as drive necessary optimization and redesign to their organizations and processes.-Assess applications and recommend solutions for upgrades or new technologies necessary to meet business needs.

Mobilization Chief for the 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) encompassing 3 Brigades and 3 Direct Reporting Units comprising of approximately 6000 Soldiers. Coordinates and directs unit mobilization and demobilization activities for all subordinate units with higher Commands to include: 79th SSC, USARC, FORSCOM and 1st Army. Responsible for ensuring all requirements are met pertaining to training, unit personnel filling, equipment, medical and overall Soldier readiness.

Responsible for forecasting, planning, coordinating, and synchronizing of all operations and training for 1,050-person Armored Cavalry Squadron in garrison.

Second in command of 140-person forward deployed Armored Cavalry Troop. Responsible for maintenance readiness, logistical coordination, and accountability of all property in excess of 150 million dollars. With strict emphasis on the readiness of unit’s fleet of 60 vehicles.

Responsible for the health, welfare, moral, discipline, training, and readiness of 29 Soldiers and the operational capability and tactical employment of 12 military vehicles against a determined enemy force.
