Reports to the Director Model Office and introduce and coach continuous improvement methodology across the Immigration New Zealand (INZ) Model Office. The purpose of the Model Office is to create a safe and supporting space to develop and test new ways of working that empower our frontline people to make real-time operational improvements.Contribute to forming the toolset for continuous improvement and will provide training, guidance and mentoring to build the mindset, toolset and skillsets for our frontline kaimahi so that they can continuously improve the way that they work. Collaborate with subject matter experts across INZ and MBIE and will work closely with other members of the Service Design branch to ensure continuous improvement methods, toolsets and learning are embedded into the wider INZ operations and ongoing success measures are in place.

Lead and coordinate team operations to ensure continuous improvement of factory goals for quality, reliability and product output. Lead projects that improve organisational operations by using tools such as Lean and Rapid Integrated Lean and developing new techniques to further improve turnaround time and meet customer expectations in failure analysis for Intel’s sub-micron devices.Coordinate operations to ensure continuous improvement of factory goals for quality, reliability and product output. Perform failure analysis to support all aspects of local manufacturing (from product qualification, yield improvement, Final Quality Assurance and right to customer returns). Responsible in developing technical capabilities in new hires, proliferate and share best known methods and FA techniques or findings to other FA support groups in Intel world-wide Corporation. Specialise in performing physical/destructive analysis and analyse the defects and physical aspects of Intel sub-micron devices. Work also includes dry etching equipment ownership and development of new FA techniques to further improve turnaround time and achieve better results finding in FA for Intel’s sub-micron devices.
