The Chief of Staff Association (CSA) is the peak international professional body for Chiefs of Staff in leading private corporations, governments, non-governmental organizations, the military, and diplomatic corps in over 70 countries. Through CSA, we take regular educational seminars on the best practices of the Chief of Staff discipline. As the 2024 recipient of CSA's Non-Profit Scholarship for the Executive Certification Program at Harvard Business School, I am deeply honored to have the rare opportunity and privilege to learn from fellow Chiefs around the world, connect with them as confidants about the unique demands of this solitary role, seek their counsel on sensitive and imminent matters, and contribute to the evolution of the Chief of Staff discipline.

Integrating many of my previous duties throughout almost seventeen years, I worked directly with the Executive Director & CEO as his second in command and strategic adviser. In this capacity, I oversaw staff recruitment and the organization’s daily operations and strategic planning activities; identified and addressed organizational priorities, opportunities, challenges, and risks; advised the ED/CEO and staff on the achievement of Government Accountability Project’s programmatic, financial, and strategic objectives; and, as the ED/CEO's deputy, helped direct and execute all Development initiatives with an incredible team.
