As Chief Operating Officer at McIlhenny Company, I oversee the operational functions throughout the organization, including all production and supply chain activities.I got my start at McIlhenny Company more than thirty years ago as an entry-level accountant. Throughout my career, I continued to grow in my role and take on additional responsibilities, eventually serving as VP Finance & CFO for the organization for nearly 23 years. In that role, I managed the overall financial function of the company, coordinated the company’s strategic long-range planning process, and led a multi-functional team in a total overhaul of the company’s information systems, which formed the foundation for many of today’s more advanced applications. Prior to my full-time employment with McIlhenny company, I worked several tours in the TABASCO® “summer help” program on Avery Island during high school and college breaks. This allowed me to experience "hands-on" jobs in the pepper fields, the pump station, the maintenance shop, the TABASCO® Factory and the corporate office. These experiences provide me with a truly unique perspective on TABASCO® Sauce from seed to plate.
