Let’s Reason is a digital health company focused on ensuring all Africans have access to the mental health services they need. The primary goals of Let’s Reason are to promote an evidence-based understanding of mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental health disorders and revolutionise the way mental health education and services are delivered to citizens of the African continent.

• Explored the feasibility of a probiotic yoghurt kitchen at the University of Rwanda’s College of Medicine and Health Sciences Campus• Conducted various meetings and presentations with university officials and community leaders regarding the proposed kitchen’s purpose and sustainability• Created a project proposal, startup budget plan, and business model by which a Fiti Centre would be opened in the months following our departure• Secured a designated space on campus and funding from the University of Rwanda that will allow for the development of Rwanda’s first Fiti Yoghurt Kitchen and Research Centre• Helped develop an ‘Intern Handbook’ so next years’ students can pick up where we left off and avoid the same mistakes we made

• Worked in the department of Geography for professor Isaac Luginaah, supporting a graduate research team on a project called ‘WeSpeak’• Worked to reduce HIV vulnerability and promote resilience through active engagement of self-identified heterosexual African, Caribbean and Black men in active HIV-related programs, research and advocacy• Created a user-friendly survey in order to collect quantitative data• Used Nvivo to code transcripts in order to organize and analyze qualitative research

• Provided assistance within three departments, Quality Management, Warranty Claims and worked alongside a defence lawyer • Analyzed audits using Intelex that resulted in evaluations of technician’s onsite performance• Worked on returning broken equipment to the manufacturer in order to obtain compensation for equipment that was still under warranty with the use of Excel• Worked on a project in which I managed an inbox where claims for broken water heaters and air conditions came in• Claimed the equipment to the manufacture and follow-up with the company to gather information on their further actions to the claim• Preformed investigative research to obtain information about the customer or the house they lived in• Pulling up service work orders, using Solomon and Banner, so we knew exactly what work was done in the house at the time of the incident
