I worked as a business consultant/administrative assistant for a small restaurant that was being opened up. I was tasked with designing payroll systems and ensuring proper training of said payroll systems. I was also tasked with creating daily operational processes for the business. For example, I was tasked with designing the systems in the kitchen. Where things where cooked for the best efficiency. The experience with payroll systems required my knowledge of excel to build a spreadsheet that auto populates the required tip outs for the servers and how much would be on their check for tips at the end of the pay period. This position was temporary while the business was getting set up.

I worked as the 4th manager and also the front end supervisor. I was in charge of closing down the store. I was tasked with ensuring all closing duties where being completed throughout the entire store. I was also tasked with merchandising and stocking the freezer department as well as keeping an up to date and accurate inventory count of the products within the freezer department. Over holidays and weekend I was tasked with building displays and analyzing purchase trends and inventory trends from pervious years to ensure proper on hand product to support sales. At the end of the days I was required to count all the cash in the tills and doing daily cash drops for any tills over a couple thousand dollars. Daily accounting at the end consisted of deposits and balancing of tills and the safe.
