I've been a key Software Developer and Architect on 4 major projects♦ Offline OData mobile SDK & cloud platformI designed and implemented the “Repeatable Requests” feature in SAP mobile services to ensure atomic transactions after network failures.Worked Extensively with large customers and their consultants to address problems and performance issues with their applications and advise on architecture going forward.Researched and implemented data change tracking for offline OData applications in the middle tier of SAP’s mobile platform.♦ The SAP Mobile back-end generator tool.I designed and developed a change tracking scheme to automatically support OData delta responses. This included complex filtering cases where the data may not have changed, but a specific users sub-set of the data may have changed. This included generation of complex SQL statements built automatically from an OData query.♦ UltraLite embedded database for mobile devicesDeveloped high performance platform independent C++ code for the UltraLite embedded database supporting a wide range of resource limited devices.Researched and implemented database transaction isolation support and system tables in UltraLite.Implemented the UltraLite background synchronization feature to allow applications to continue to read and write to the database while synchronizing data with the back-end.Extensive robustness testing including stress testing, network failure simulation, memory leak checking and robust recovery after forced application crash. ♦ MobiLink synchronization serverProposed, architected and led development for SQL Anywhere’s “Central Administration of Remote Databases” feature.Designed and implemented development life-cycle support for the MobiLink synchronization modeling tool.Developed an algorithm to prevent server data corruption in the event that a offline mobile application is restored from backup or encounters out-of-order network requests.
