I founded Grayowl Point, a blog focused on the Canadian independent music scene, in 2009. As an editor and a writer, I have done the following:• Write album reviews weekly• Write concert reviews• Interview musicians and write short features• Manage relationships with musicians, record label reps, PR agents• Manage the blog’s social media presence on Twitter and Facebook• Have covered, as accredited media, large Toronto music festivals such as Canadian Music Week (CMW) and North by Northeast (NXNE)• Manage other editors and writers

Teaching English to Korean students.

As Managing Editor, I do the following:• Copy edit incoming stories• Update social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Instagram• Write a news article a day on various topics, from world news to arts to technology• Find important news stories to assign to other writers• Work with established and new writers to ensure compliance with editorial guidelines• Correspond with various content partners• Gather and analyze site metrics• Live reporting on various events

• Kept the site's Twitter and Facebook accounts up-to-date• Edited Exclaim! TV video sessions using Final Cut Pro• Wrote descriptions of Exclaim! TV sessions, contests, music/video roundups• Once a week, put together the Exclaim! newsletter• Occasionally reviewed concerts

Produced the Fed Podcast, based on the Toronto Star column by Corey Mintz. On a monthly basis, I received roughly two to three hours of tape which I then cut down to a fifteen- to thirty-minute podcast.
