I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and company Director at Michael Dyson Associates Ltd. overseeing Contract Administration and Project Management operations. My project involvement has been extensive of the years but broadly can be summarised as; Employers Agent, Contract Administrator, Procurement Advisor, Building Surveyor, CDM Principal Designer, Clerk of Works / Quality Advisor, Quantity Surveyor / Cost Advisor and Party Wall Surveyor. I have benefitted from working in many company departments over the years which has developed my multi-disciplinary skillset. Building upon this into the future, I sit on various in-house and external working groups where collaboration and best practice is at the heart of the objectives. I lead teams on many large-scale projects and I’m highly competent in preparing, negotiating and agreeing project briefs & cost plans for our clients. My experience includes new build, refurbishment and repair of non-traditional properties. I am also experienced in the management and resolution of contractual disputes in construction projects having worked with many forms of contracts and have dealt with an assortment of demanding situations. I am also an Incorporated Member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS) as an accredited CDM Principal Designer with a thorough knowledge and understanding of HSE Building Regulations, Legal Guidelines and CDM Regulations 2015.
