As the Director of Reporting I work directly with the management team to provide accurate detail of the company’s financial performance surrounding ARR and sales goals. In my role I also manage a international team of 2-4 accountants to accurately record all billing, receipt and intercompany transactions of the parent company and its subsidiary entities. Responsibilities include:Reporting• Report ARR, MRR and all other financial analytics using Maxio (FKA SaaSOptics) to management team.• Manage international team to invoice and collect an excess of $40 million annually from clients ranging from fortune 500 hundred businesses to small/medium sized businesses. • Completing month end files and revenue reporting.• Maintain and update forecast files to be reviewed by the management team and aid in cash flow analysis.Notable experience • Aided in multiple rounds of equity raising from outside investment. Review, analyze and ensure loan covenants were followed. • Aid in the due diligence verification and analysis during corporate aquisitions.• Managed the onboarding process of new clients after the acquisitions of companies in the US and Australia.Implementation• Oversaw the implementation of NetSuite as the company upgraded from QuickBooks.• Set up and maintain Avalara software to manage sales tax filings for each state as well as ensure proper calculation of sales taxes on all invoices. • Implement ASC 606 revenue recognition standard on all current contracts. Compliance• Filed all voluntary disclosure agreements with states as SAAS products became taxable in jurisdictions and economic nexus thresholds were reached.• Work with Controller to manage audit requests on all revenue and client related items.• Created and maintain Revenue policy.
