CurrentFounded in 2006, Revolution Foods, a Public Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corporation, is the leading provider of fresh vended meals for schools and senior citizens in California and Nevada. Revolution Foods serves well over 200K fresh meals per day to Charter Schools, Public School Districts, Senior Centers and Community Based Organizations.Leads Material Management (Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Inventory Control), Food Safety Quality Assurance, and Transportation (including in-house fleet of 150 trucks/vans) for the largest third-party K-12 school meal provider in California. Restructured the entire Material Management department including the establishment of Sourcing leadership roles and formalized Inventory Control management at each production center. - Developed and currently implementing a Sourcing strategy for $60 million annual spend on ingredients and packaging. Set goal of 5% budget reduction in the first year focusing on key categories / vendors. - Owns the weekly / monthly physical count process at each distribution location and determine variances between actuals to plan (and forecast). Implemented system lot and expiration tracking capabilities to mitigate waste. Revamped daily purchasing processes by implementing MRP module within ERP system, which included development of a new demand Forecast model and cleaning Item Master file for all existing SKUs. Created Food Safety Plan utilizing FSMA protocols including GMP and HAACP documentation. Reduced average monthly meal count with FSQA incident tickets by 200% from the first half to the second half of FY24.Manage transportation network for $140 million revenue business, encompassing over 160 daily routes to schools, daycare centers and direct to senior homes for both hot and cold food deliveries.
