In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s engagement with institutional investors globally, setting strategic priorities and goals for the institutional business & services, and engaging with clients to represent market views and investment strategies. Prior to this, Michael was the Global Head of Fixed Income Business Development and Product Strategy. Before joining AB in 2021, he was the global head of the financial institutions group and European head of marketing and client relations at Intermediate Capital Group. Michael spent 14 years at PIMCO in a variety of leadership roles in Europe and Asia, including head of Asia . He has also worked for Western Asset, Lombard Odier and Franklin Templeton. Michael holds a BSS in economics and law from the University of Natal and has completed the Leadership Excellence through Awareness and Practice at INSEAD. Location: London
