As a Project Manager on the DTLA Land Development team, to external parties I am the face of Psomas; internally I am a team leader and design mentor for several projects. Scaling between birds-eye and boots-on-the-ground views, I steer projects of varying scope and scale towards success, learning from my superiors and mentors along the way.Our project clientele are predominantly Higher Education and K-12 projects all over the LA Metro region, ranging from multi-acre and multi-story expansions, to utility backbone upgrades, accessibility upgrades, campus-wide master planning, and more. Other clients include public works projects with local municipalities, historic renovations for City/County treasures, and more.I love building well-made systems: I create tools, educational materials, workshops, and team resources to reimagine our workflow and enhance the quality and expertise of our work.

As part of the Land Development team I managed a handful of projects at a time, from design to project close-out. My role included being the primary point of contact, designing the full extents of Civil scope, managing plan production and submittals, and providing construction phase support. My diversified experience serving as a manager or a supporting role spaned both public and private development, with a sweeping range from small to large sites, short to tall buildings, and nearly every kind of use. As an added bonus, I got to take on creative roles with the Visualization and Marketing Teams where I helped engineers communicate what they can’t through creative means which don’t often know how to, to a host of audiences. (ie: videography, photography, graphics, & renderings)

What began as a hobby eventually became 4-year affair inventing, creating, and selling woodworking products for clients all over the United States. As the sole proprietor, I wore all the hats of the business, making innovative items by-hand for home, business, and custom-order use.I thrived in combining what I knew from Engineering design principals with my love for creating (anything). As a junior engineer-in-training, I was exposed to the bread-and-butter tools of AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and the Microsoft Suite. With these tools I supported drainage, roadway, structural, and grading improvement projects.

My internship with GMU was full of robust exposure in the geotechnical world. I supported office production support, site visits, in-situ field testing, and laboratory ASTM analysis.
