The end product of which was a total update of the 3D geology, mineralisation and alteration models for a mid year resource update. The key skills developed during this time was the ability to be able to successfully manage simultaneous drill programs over multiple sites, ensuring excellent safety and environmental practices were adhered to, quality drilling & data collection, detailed interpretations (3D modelling) and finally periodic reporting of the above. The project shifted focus during 2008 from purely resource definition to a combination of ongoing resource definition and targeting and exploring "near-mine" prospects with an aim of adding additional ounces to the total resource. During this period I gained excellent experience in project evaluation utilising Airmag, IP, soils and historic drilling to identify prospective targets. I was involved with the design and implementation of several pre-feasibility programs such as hydrological testing, density analysis, diamond twinning and metallurgical analysis while continuing with the ongoing resource requirements such as the interpretation, modelling and estimation of the Minzwel Prospect.During my 2 ½ years at the Buckreef project I have gained broad exposure to resource development and exploration from first pass reconnaissance drilling to resource modelling and estimation while developing skills in people and project management, prospect evaluation, orebody modelling, database management, QAQC and reporting.
