About Michael Thomét

As a game designer and mystery writer, my goal is to deliver games with compelling narratives that keep players engaged and curious. I develop characters and plots which have difficult choices and high stakes. With my mystery writer background, you can bet that any character can be on the chopping block, but in a way that makes a player or reader stick with the narrative. I believe in using all the narrative tools to achieve a solid gameplay experience, including environmental storytelling, branching narratives, meaningful choices, and interface design. Although my core skill is writing, I also have a technical background and can talk the language of artists and programmers alike. I have a "get it done" attitude when it comes to deliverables, and I don't need to be babysat to find something to work on when there are lulls in the dev cycle.
