I work in the Building Pathology (BP) department at Technology Centre. I get involved in a wide range of investigations in all types of construction old and new.I have been involved in building pathology and testing for over 12 years. These on-site investigations range from full structural condition surveys of buildings to monitoring and visual inspections, problem solving and managing life-care plans for multi-storey car parks (MSCP). I'm also involved in the cathodic protection (CP) area of the BP Group. The CP section comprises various projects including design, monitoring, maintenance of systems, upgrades and installation of various systems. Prior to joining the BP department I gained extensive experience of testing and investigation of large and small scale structural elements. During this time I managed the structural and impact testing section for the Compliance Testing Group.
