About Michael Thorwarth

Dr. Michael Thorwarth holds dual doctorates in medicine and dentistry and is a certified maxillofacial surgeon. He began his career with eight years of hands-on patient care. Following a PhD in bone substitutes and an MBA, he joined the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked in both the firm's Munich and New York offices. From 2019 to 2023, he served as CEO of DEIN DENTAL and the European Dental Group Germany. Dr. Thorwarth is currently the Group CEO of Ergéa and CEO of it's German entity RadioOnkologieNetzwerk.The Ergéa Group is a leading European platform specializing in cancer care and diagnostic imaging, with a focus on four key healthcare sectors: managed equipment services, integrated clinical services, outpatient clinics, and equipment maintenance.
