I have thirty-five years of experience in the fields of industrial fire prevention and protection and property risk control. I began my career with IRI as a Loss Prevention Consultant, then spent nearly sixteen years as a direct contract Fire Specialist and Manager for a major auto maker. For the last ten of those years I was a Director acting as their Global Fire Manager. I was with Aon starting in September of 2012 as a Senior Consultant - Property Risk, and was the lead property consultant for a number of accounts. While I primarily serviced automotive component suppliers, I also had clients in steel manufacturing, retail property and health care.In June of 2014 I took on the additional responsibility of leading the Aon Risk Solutions Property Asset Valuations Team, helping to expand that business.In 2016, I joined Global Risk Consultants (GRC) as a Senior Consultant/Account Consultant, combining the responsibilities of field work and account work in property risk engineering.In 2021, I made the transition to Zurich Resilience Solutions, again as a Senior Consultant/Account Consultant. However, after two years, I decided it was time to retire and spend more time at home.In September of 2023, I signed on with SnapRISK as a part time consultant. I enjoy the flexibility of working when I want to work and as much as I want to work, while also having the satisfaction of working with a special group of people.I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and until recently was licensed by the State of Michigan as a Professional Engineer (Fire Protection Engineering).Specialties: I specialize in property risk control for large manufacturing and assembly operations.
