Reduced delivery of manufactured goods from 1 to 2 days by partnering with suppliers and establishing stocking programs to enable 1 day delivery of finished assembled product to customers.

Managed $9 Million business, without supervisory support. Oversaw 52 direct reports in equipment and facilities maintenance, shipping, receiving, one engineer, one planner and two shifts of non-union production. Converted business into four complete cells, allowing each cell to produce from raw material to finish product directly shipping to customer. Reduced required manufacturing floor space from 33,000 to 18,000 sq ft. Reduced factory lead time to customer from eight weeks to two weeks.Increased On-Time Delivery to customer from 84% to 95%. Reduced WIP (Work in Process) 75%. One cell reduced from 440,000 to 40,000 WIP a 90% reduction.Removed product from warehouse and setup same day shipping program from stock.
