Manage projects for process and factory infrastructure improvements across the site as a member of the project team.Produce 2D & 3D drawings / models for a wide variety of needs within the business.Responsibilities include:• Layouts for Manufacturing process equipment, factory & warehouse buildings, site infrastructure, high hazard chemical plant equipment, energy saving concepts, Biomass plants, update site plans and flow sheets. All layouts developed to comply with ATEX and DSEAR regulations.• Communicating ideas with directors and process managers before finalising and printing drawings to be used in tender documentation. Liaise with structural and civil consultants when additional input is required.• Check and file all incoming drawings. Maintain control and condition of archive containing over 10,000 drawings as well as 40 years of project information.• Produce planning application drawing sets.• Produce site specific layouts for inclusion in pre-tender health & safety plans.• Produce cost estimates and installation programs for mechanical and civil projects. Create and issue tenders packs• Review tenders, nominate and manage contractors carrying out project work and site infrastructure maintenance.• Control drawing documentation flow before, during and after projects both live and proposed.• Issue permits to work for contractors & site staff, such as master permit, roof permit, excavation permit & hot work permit.• Appointed person for crane lifts across site, create lift plans and organising lifts. Liaise with crane / lifting contractors when contract lifts are favoured. • Work within project budgets. Control £20k/month buildings & infrastructure maintenance budget.
