I have been in a Roofing & Cladding estimating position for 14 years now. My role includes: taking off quantities from drawings, obtaining manufacturers material prices, sending out enquiries for sub-contract work, produce any detail sketches/drawings showing what I have interpreted/ allowed for, price B0Q's, price attendances, attend pre/ post tender design meetings to discuss and make sure we comply with client/architect requirements, assist with scheduling & ordering materials, checking invoices and to produce print outs and reports from estimates
