While on vacation with my family a few years ago, a little boy kept staring at me and whispering to his mother. Finally, the mother turned to me and said “He thinks you are Santa Claus.” Raising a finger to my lips in the typical “Shhhh” gesture, I bent down and told him I was indeed Santa but on vacation so I didn’t want anyone to know who I was. His face lit up with excitement and he promised to keep our little secret. I have often thought of that little boy and the joy I was able to bring to him by being Santa.I recently retired from a 44 year career as a CPA and I attended the New England Santa Academy. I am a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS), The Connecticut Society of Santas and The New England Santa Society. I am insured and have a clear background check. I have a custom-made Santa Suit. The beard is real and so is the belly! I am available for pubic and private events including photos with Santa, meet & greets, parades, tree lighting ceremonies, breakfast with Santa, visits to daycares, nursing homes, libraries, children’s parties, and business events throughout the year.Mrs. Claus joins me on some visits when she isn’t busy supervising the elves.
