Operated and serviced a high pressure steam plant with two gas and #6 oil fired boilers, rotary screw air compressors, a hot oil heater and associated plant machinery at their Minneapolis shingle mill. Streamlined completion of maintenance projects by acting as liaison between plant supervision, vendors and contractors. Saved plant downtime by correcting a hot oil burner recurring flame failure issue by installing a moisture separator the burner's atomizing steam piping.

Created and grew a mechanical contracting business with over 200 customers that responded to a need for service, energy auditing, cost reduction, consulting, project management and support for customers with district steam, steam and hot water heating systems and boiler plants.
