My primary responsibilities include analyzing, reviewing and assessing credit risk on loan transactions that are secured by either real estate, accounts receivable, inventory or fixed assets. I work closely with management and provide support to the commercial lending department on all commercial transactions. I assess current and potential client viability, analyzing financial statements and cash flow of customers. I possess sound knowledge of credit systems, financial collections, reporting and all related credit-based system operations. I am also required to attend monthly compliance meetings as it pertains to banking policies.

At Argent Mortgage, I was responsible to underwrite ALT-A and sub-prime non-conforming 1st and 2nd mortgage loans in accordance with company and agent guidelines. Primary responsibilities included analyzing and evaluating cash flow, assessing repayment ability and quality of collateral, preparing appropriate documentation pertaining to lending decisions, reviewing loan to value ratios, credit reports and loan applications to ensure that each loan met company guidelines, and evaluating personal financial statements and tax returns to determine acceptable risk.
