I led the Barts Assurance (formerly London Audit) team - providing a full range of specialist internal audit, ICT assurance, counter fraud, and investigation services to help support clients across the public sector. The team won CIPFA's 2022 Public Finance Award for "Excellence in Public Sector Audit", and was shortlisted by the IIA(UK) for their Public Sector Audit team of the year 2023.

Head of Internal Audit accountable to the Registrar & Secretary and University's Audit Committee for development and delivery of a comprehensive internal audit service.

Responsible to the Finance Director locally, and to central Group Audit, for the development and delivery of an internal audit service across the Fortis Insurance operations in the UK (including Eastleigh and Gloucester offices along with RIAS subsidiary in Poole.)

Senior Auditor responsible for planning, delivery and reporting of a range of internal audit assignments across all areas of the Council. Also Fraud investigations, development of CAATs (using IDEA software) and Capital Project audits.

Delivered a variety of audit and accounting projects across a range of companies, co-operative organisations and public sector bodies. Also worked on a number of special projects and secondments including insolvency work and bank reports.
