I have been a practicing attorney for almost 40 years. My areas of practice include Insolvency Law, Corporate Law, real property law and and litigation. As a member of the Michigan, New York and Illinois Bars, I am dedicated to advocating for my clients on the legal front. I have appeared before the United States Supreme Court and have been engaged assisting clients in courts throughout the United States, Poland and Israel. Before becoming an attorney, I worked as a teacher for 17 years, focusing on history. After spending time working with children and their families and their families, I knew I wanted to use other of my skills to change the world. I have homes in Israel, Warsaw and Krakow, Poland, and Chicago. My law firm office is on Wall Street. I’m also the creator of the Michael H. Traison Fund for Poland which has advanced initiatives in remembering the Jewish civilization in Poland destroyed by the Germans. Having taught history after advanced degrees in that field, I remain an independent scholar with a focus on European Jewish history in central and Eastern Europe.
