Lead the NZ business as Acting GM, Finance Manager and Director, through the duration of the recruitment process for a new GM.

The purpose of the role is to partner with the Rolling & Finishing Business to deliver a full spectrum of information and reporting to allow them to control costs and make improvements. Key Responsibilities:• Cost reporting and analysis• General Ledger Reconciliations (Blackline)• Budgeting and Forecasting on SAP & TM1• Repairs & Maintenance vs Capital appraisals• Capital project evaluations• Monthly Reporting pack for Plant General Manager and Plant Managers• Inputs from Operations team into GM’s Executive Pack• Inventory oversight including Imports, stock take control and reconciliations• COPL analysis (cost of product losses) for Rolling and Finishing• Benchmarking against international businesses• Business Improvement analysis Key Achievements:• Adapting to the ever-changing needs of the business• Creating process efficiencies enabling me to cover a wider area of scope in the business• Numerous Project work and “Sprints” including 2020 Strategic Review• Being part of a voluntary Internal audit team and moving from Observer to Lead Auditor

The purpose of the role was to provide accurate financial data analysis and reporting for the business.Key Responsibilities:• Debtors Days reporting• Inventory analysis & DOI• GST returns & FBT returns• Fixed asset reconciliation and overview (Capital)• Variance analysis and Monthly Reporting • Budgeting and Forecasting for Selling & Admin Overhead cost centres (including Marketing)• Freight analysisKey Achievements:• Setting up reporting for Cost centre owners• Process documentation improvements

• Standard Cost and Transfer Pricing Review.• Business Process Review.• Reporting improvements• Assisting Management and Financial Accountants with month end and year-end functions• Answering auditor queries at year end.• Preparing the Fixed Asset Register schedule for upload onto Accounting package (Axapta)• Daily Sales reporting

• Ensure effective cash flow management and maximum interest received on accounts• Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts monthly• Meet all reporting deadlines set by Switzerland• Ensure Fixed Asset Register kept up to date and accurate• Distribution of management reports to various line managers • VAT (GST) Returns and PAYE Returns• Budgets and variance analysis• Ensuring that only valid and authorized payments are affected through EFT (Electronic funds transfer)• Effective control and management of staff of 7 in Finance department
