The platform had to be able to handle the 13.6 million customers that the company had in 2022.Led a team of 4 contractors by helping them understand our infrastructure and answering questions on various initiatives to ensure on-time project deliveries.

My partnership with a recruiting firm named Hireclout introduced me to this opportunity. Here is a summary of the responsibilities while I was there:Collaboratively developed new processes to help retrieve, convert, and verify the integrity of sensor data collected from watches that were used in a study related to Parkinson’s disease using Java, Google Cloud, Google Protocol Buffers. Collaboratively developed a multi-tenant electronic health record site responsible for handling patient information for the optometry field using Java (GWT), AWS (S3, EC2, Route 53, EB, RDS), ElasticSearch. Worked on integrating services that were responsible for importing and exporting patient information for the system. Worked with the creation of charge related messages collected from patient visits which were exchanged using different methods like REST/SOAP/flat files. Responsible for automating the creation of these message exchange interfaces using Jenkins. Collaboratively developed customer portal to help facilitate management of their accounts using PHP (CodeIgniter to Zend Framework port), Java, JAX-RS Web Services, Spring Framework, Twitter Bootstrap, GSON, and MyBatis. Performed other recurring tasks such as report generation using MySQL, Oracle, and BIRT or other miscellaneous tasks like data conversion or data pulls using Apache Camel. Orchestrated daily process of using Kettle (ETL tool) to transform Oracle data into normalized MySQL data. Setup various Jenkins jobs so that different testing was performed (JavaScript, web service performance, UI using Selenium.Led a team of 3 contractors to help design and implement Android and iOS mobile apps equivalent to the site being built that could leverage the REST APIs for its functionality. Also concurrently mentored and led a team of 5 interns that helped to ensure on-time project deliveries.
